Align International Recruitment is a global search
and recruitment company specialising in assisting New
Zealand and US companies to employ the right people
for the right job across a wide range of commercial
sectors…particularly in some of the most difficult
and demanding technical disciplines. And (as you will
see when you click on the Testimonials link) we’re
very good at what we do. We also assist offshore and
expatriate Kiwi job seekers who want to return to live
and work in New Zealand.
For job seekers we provide a friendly, personal and
totally professional approach to their search process
– the level of which can be difficult to match
by other recruitment agencies. In this regard we are
uniquely positioned to help short-listed offshore candidates
to interview with NZ companies, deal with settlement
issues and prepare for the cultural and lifestyle differences
that may exist between their home country and living
Down Under.
How we work
Almost without exception our corporate clients
comment on our ability to understand their complex and
specialised employment needs, respond quickly to their
concerns and questions, follow through on our commitments
and be open and honest with them.
We don’t try to “bend and flex” candidates
to make them fit an employment opportunity. We never
double dip either. In fact, we won’t recruit anyone
from our clients’ organisations, unless they specifically
request or authorise us to do so. We try to ask the
right questions up front to ensure that we fully appreciate
and understand the kind of applicants our clients are
specifically looking for. That’s why we do our
best to screen all our candidates to ensure that we
hit the mark the first time.
We also have no target or minimum number of placements
to make each month or KPIs to reach. Our rewards are
our satisfied clients. And because we appreciate the
time and costs involved to work with a proven international
recruitment consultancy, we are totally motivated and
focused on helping our clients succeed in employing

Our history
The precursor to Align International Recruitment Ltd’s
establishment in November 2003 was US-based Synergy
Solutions Ltd which was founded in 1995 by Larry Beck.
After many years of supporting US and Canadian companies
with their diverse and specialised recruitment needs,
Larry made the decision to immigrate to New Zealand
as a permanent resident in January 2002, bringing his
clients, contacts, networks and recruitment expertise
with him.
Our professional niche
Align International Recruitment's strengths include our vast network of
contacts and networks within diverse industry sectors, including Electronic
Design Automation (EDA), high tech electronics as well as mental
health and medical recruitment, including nursing, audiology and
physiotherapy. This broad industry experience across numerous practices and
disciplines gives us an acute advantage over most other recruitment
agencies.
Companies that utilise EDA, Computer Aided Design and Engineering
tools in their design environments to support their power electronics,
embedded, digital, analogue, IC, PCB and related electrical engineering needs
dovetail closely with our own technical recruitment expertise. We are also
well suited in helping organisations fill some of their clinical psychologist
and nursing vacancies while ensuring that our candidates meet all
registration requirements.

fulfill their dreams to live and work in New Zealand, the US or elsewhere.
Our personal experience
Prior to establishing Synergy Solutions Ltd in the US
and subsequently Align International Recruitment in
New Zealand, company principal Larry Beck worked for
a Portland, Oregon-based company that is a world leader
in providing solutions for the Electronic Design Automation
industry. His background includes ten years of supply
chain roles with a Seattle-based Fortune 300 company
specialising in heavy manufacturing for the class eight
truck industry. Larry’s extensive business experience
in diverse industry sectors coupled with his supply
chain and recruitment background make him ideally suited
to support organisations with their operational, information
technology, hardware engineering, software development,
and related engineering and technical staffing needs.
His results-orientated approach is reflected in numerous
achievement awards received from employers for delivery
above and beyond expectations.
As a result of Larry’s previous experience in
the US, he brings to NZ an extensive network of contacts
that have proved invaluable when sourcing talent from
offshore. He is particularly strong in the areas of
electrical engineering, including analogue, digital,
printed circuit board, power electronics and other engineering
disciplines.
