Job Title: Consultant Radiologist

Relocation: A relocation package will be offered to the successful candidate who agrees to stay for a minimum of two years
Salary: $150,000 to $200,000 Base Salary DOE/DOQ
Start Date: Within 180 days after offer acceptance

Introduction:

About the Hospital:

They provide a comprehensive range of diagnostic imaging services for their population with over 100,000 procedures undertaken annually by the service and a wide range of services and modalities are performed including X-Ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, mammography, fluoroscopy and basic interventional procedures.
The department has modern imaging equipment with two new CT scanners (256 slice and 16 Slice) and a new 1.5T MRI installed within the last 18 months.
Their Radiologists are multi-skilled, but the development of a special interest is supported. Ongoing education is encouraged and supported. Multi-disciplinary meetings are held weekly with all specialities being involved which allows for a close collegial working environment.
They have a contracted with an overnight teleradiology service which means there is no overnight on call requirement for their Radiologists.

Primary Requirements Include:
a) At least five years’ post board certified/registered/licensed experience in Radiology;
b) Have worked at least 30-40 hours a week for the past four years;
c) Able to receive your New Zealand vocational registration;
d) Able to get a work visa;
e) Must have completed your specialist residency and training which is comparable to that of a NZ graduate;
f) Excellent English and communications skills;
g) Good team oriented skills;
h) Good sense of humour;
i) Able to start work within 180 days of offer;
j) Clear practice record with no malpractice suits or complaints; and
k) Able and willing to commit for at least two years desired.
We will assist the successful candidate in applying for and receiving their NZ vocational registration and direct you to a NZ registered Immigration Consultant to advise you on how to successfully apply for your work visa.
