| primary requirements : | 1.Must have or be eligible to receive vocational registration from and also receive your Medical Practitioner registration from the Medical Council of New Zealand. 2.Must have outstanding professional skills, commitment to the specialty and a vision to provide a team based service founded on excellent in all aspects of the business. 3.Consideration will be given to dermatologists who may only want to work part time in the public health service or a long term locum position. 4.Able and willing to commit at least two years to our client. 5.An interest in online medical education, telemedicine and skin cancer management is a plus. |
| primary duties : | Dermatology provides a secondary and tertiary dermatology services to the people of Waikato. This new position has been approved for a dermatologist to join client's existing three dermatologists in meeting the increasing demand for dermatology services and to develop the regonal service to other hospitals in the Midlands region. The current dermatologists are academically inclined with two being associate professors. There is an academic division of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Science, University of Auckland, on site along with a well equipped clinical school with acts as a teaching and training centre for an increasing number of undergraduates and postgraduate medical and allied health science students. |
