He Kōrero mō te tūranga – About the Role
We have a permanent, full-time opportunity for a Clinical Lead role covering the Community and Outpatient Physiotherapy team across the Eastern Bay of Plenty.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist wanting to develop their leadership capabilities. This is an opportunity to advance your skills in:
Implementing evidence-based practice and service development
Motivating, guiding, and developing staff
Clinical leadership
In this role you will carry a clinical caseload in the outpatient team while providing day to day coordination for a team of approximately six physiotherapists. You will also work collaboratively with the Professional Leader for that discipline. Leadership support and training will be provided as well as regular professional development and collegial support.
He Korero mōu – About You
We are looking for a person with New Zealand Registration and current Annual Practicing Certificate from the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand.
Our preferred candidate will have:
At least five years’ experience
Experience providing adult teaching and knowledge of appropriate educating skills
Organisational, time management and clinical priority-setting skills
A commitment to achieving equitable outcomes for Māori
Knowledge of quality improvement principles and processes
