Introduction:

This is a specialist mental health service with a MDT that strives to honour cultural and clinical considerations when engaging with the whanau.  They provide assessments, interventions and treatments for young people who present with serious emotional, social and/or behavioural problems.  They hold clinics on-site where clients are seen in their homes, at school and/or in the community.  Some clients will be seen in the clinic and not in their homes.  This role can be quite challenging and requires a really good understanding of Maui culture, the principles which underlie the Waitangi Treaty and Te Whare Tapa Wha, ie physical health, spiritual health, family health and mental health.

  8. Experience working within a family/whanau context;
