Job Title: Clinical Psychologist who is able and willing to see all ages.
Open to: All English Speaking Currently Board Certified Clinical Psychologists
All ages: The successful candidate will be able and willing to see all ages from young children to older adults and their families.
Location: Hanoi, Vietnam
Job Type: Permanent, Direct Hire
Commitment: Minimum two years
Relocation: Yes there will be some financial help with some relocation costs
Salary: US$3,000 to $4,000 net, after taxes are paid by the clinic, per month, depending on level of experience;
Start Date: Within 30 days after your Vietnam license and work visa are approved.
Certification: The Medical Clinic may ask for information from you to apply for your license.
English Exam: All Psychologists, whose first, primary, native language isn’t English, may be required to pay for their own travel costs to Hanoi to take a government administered English language exam. This is required before your license will be issued.
Work Status: The Medical Clinic will provide all of the necessary documents. You will apply for your work visa at the nearest Vietnam Embassy.

Introduction:
This is a privately held healthcare organisation in Vietnam which provides primarily health care to expats who reside in Hanoi and others parts of Vietnam. They are the largest and first established foreign, privately held, international health care provider in Vietnam. They are building more outpatient clinics and also will have built a hospital for inpatients within 24 months to supplement fix clinics in major cities. Their staff come from diverse locations such as the US, Canada, Israel, France, Belgium, Italy, Switzerland, UK, Japan, Philippines, Australia, Argentina and Vietnam. All contracts include a four months’ probationary employment period.
It’s important to understand that we are looking for more long-term candidates who can commit at least two years after passing their initial, probationary employment period. Although the contracts may be for one year at a time, many of their staff have been with them for a number of years. The ongoing, continuation of their work is crucial from their perspective and that of their patients as the patients always sees the same staff member. Therefore, the clinic takes pride in creating long-term relationships amongst their staff as well as with their patients.
Primary Requirements Include:
a) Must be currently licensed as a Clinical Psychologist;
b) At least or five or more years’ experience working as a Clinical Psychologist;
c) Fluent in English, ie reading, writing, speaking and listening;
d) Able and willing to commit at least two years;
e) Able and willing to work under pressure;
f) Good computer and MS Office skills;
g) Able and willing to work with medical software;
h) Excellent team orientated work skills;
i) Good patient facing skills;
j) Able to work under stressful conditions;
k) Have current practicing licence in your home country;
l) Able and willing to work in a multi-cultural environment with team members from all over the world; and
m) Prior community mental health in a hospital, outpatient or inpatient setting is required.
Responsibilities include but aren’t limited to:
a) Assist in seeing all ages;
b) Diagnose and treat emotional, mental, developmental, behavioural problems and learning difficulties;
c) Skilled and experienced in treating:
1) Anxiety;
2) Depression;
3) Autism spectrum disorder;
4) ADHD;
5) Developmental disorders;
6) Personality disorders;
7) Eating disorders;
8) Learning disabilities, eg dyslexia; and
9) Addictions.
