Forensic Clinical Psychologist
In a nutshell, the job consists of
• Doing forensic assessments for clients both in the community as well as in prison;
• Provide psychotherapy; and
• Tend to special clients who may be found to be unfit to stand trail.
Lacking prior forensic training and/or experience? No worries! They will provide all of the training and cultural orientation that you need.
You would be joining a community mental health based multi-disciplinary team with members
from various parts of the world, including the US. Any education, training, unternships,
practicums or experience with neuropsychological and forensic asesssments would
be an advantage. Any interest in intellectual disabilities and autism are very welcome. Ideally,
would like someone who has at least three years’ post registration/license experience and can
commit at least two years or longer.
This is a full-time 1.0FTE 40 hours a week position that comes with a little relocation help,
four weeks’ paid vacation/annual leave and 11 paid public holidays per year, CE and other goodies.
