The Outpatient Physiotherapy team at Whakatāne Hospital is looking for an enthusiastic Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapist to join the team. To be successful in this role, you must be able to engage well with clients and their whānau and work in a client-centred practice. You will join our supportive, friendly and experienced team.

This role is primarily based in the outpatient department in Te Koru Rehabilitation department at Whakatāne Hospital.

Te Koru Rehabilitation department includes allied health professionals across the acute services, inpatient rehabilitation, community and outpatient. Our acute, outpatient and community allied health teams work together to support each other, providing best outcomes for our clients and a fantastic working atmosphere!

He korero mōu – About You

We are looking for a physiotherapist with experience and an interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and pain management.

The physiotherapist in this role will develop in-depth knowledge of physical conditioning and approaches to the restoration of physical function. An awareness of rehabilitation theory, management of musculoskeletal issues, the ability to motivate patients to successfully self-manage, along with up-to-date knowledge is desirable.
