I would like to draw your attention to a permanent opportunity for a keen and skilled Business Analyst to join a telecommunications, Christchurch, South Island, New Zealand, based company who I have recruited for a number of years.
Remuneration is NZ$85,000 to $105,000 per annum depending on level of experience and qualifications.

This is a permanent position providing a road to permanent residency to overseas candidates.
Some of your day-to-day responsibilities may include, but not be limited to:
Be part of a high-performing, dedicated, engineering team working on key projects;
Ensure that product requirements and customer cases are captured and documented while liaising with Product Architects and Technical Leads;
Assist with coordinating project activities to capture plans, costs and resourcing needs;
Share your toolbox of skills in contributing towards continuously improving both performance and efficiencies empowering you to influence improvements to their internal Engineering processes, procedures, systems and workflows;
Be part of cross-functional, agile, development teams that will expose you to a wide and diverse range of learning opportunity to ever expand your own technical toolbox;

Skills that would make you an ideal candidate include:
A tertiary qualification relevant to business analysis;
Some experience with telecommunications products is highly desired;
Minimum five or more years’ commercial product development exposure under your belt;
Demonstrated proficiency in capturing requirements and use cases;
Good exposure and high level of comfort with the entire, full, lifecycle of commercial product development;
Experience with communications systems a real advantage;
Having the right attitude that includes being highly flexible, open to feedback, keen on growing and learning; inquisitive; strong problem-solving and analysis skills;
Able to switch context rapidly to meet ever-changing business needs;
Must like people and be passionate about participating with others with little or no ego to get in the way of being a start team performer; and
Always thinking of ways to simplify, maintain and improve already high quality products that directly reflect what customers’ want and need.
