He Kōrero mō te tūranga – About the Role

The Community Allied Health Team at Whakatane hospital is looking for a community Occupational Therapist to join our supportive, friendly, and experienced team. This is a full-time fixed term position until June 2023. Part time options can be considered.

The role provides an opportunity to work with a varied community-based client caseload in a diverse environment including town and rural settings. You will work within the allied health team to provide excellence in community-based care. The allied health community team are developing together and support each other to provide best outcomes for Tangata Whaiora/clients.

He Korero Mōu – About You

You will be a New Zealand Registered Occupational Therapist who is able to work autonomously and collaboratively. You will have excellent clinical and problem solving skills and an ability to communicate effectively with health professionals, health agencies, tangata whaiora/ clients and whānau.
