The Community Allied Health Team at Whakatāne hospital is looking for a community Occupational Therapist who is passionate about community-based rehabilitation to join our supportive, friendly, and experienced team.
We can offer flexible working which includes working from home, virtual and community-based interventions. Developing and supporting your special interests and professional practice in the community space is well supported.
He Kōrero mō te tūranga – About the Role
This is a full-time permanent position; however, part time options can be considered. The role provides an opportunity to work with a varied community-based client caseload in a diverse environment including town and rural settings. You will work within the allied health team to provide excellence in community-based care, with a developing focus of rehabilitation. The allied health community team support each other to provide best outcomes for Tangata Whaiora/clients.
He Korero Mōu – About You
You will be a New Zealand registered occupational therapist who is able to work autonomously and collaboratively. You will have excellent clinical and problem-solving skills and an ability to communicate effectively with health professionals, health agencies, tangata whaiora/ clients and whanau.
