Physiotherapist Physical Therapist Physical Therapy AR-060
Location: Hamilton, North Island
80 hours per fortnight
We have an exciting opportunity for a Physiotherapist to work within our dynamic team. You would be working in partnership with other rotational and experienced clinician’s and our multi-disciplinary team providing a physiotherapy assessment, management and discharge service.
This position would be ideal for someone who is keen to further develop their physiotherapy skills in a new sub-acute ward of care of the elderly and ortho geriatrics. This ward will be a rapid assessment and discharge ward for patients over 65 years. However you will also work as part of the wider acute in-patient Physiotherapy team.
You will utilise principles of cultural safety, evidence based practice and independent professional judgment on a daily basis. You will also be expected to participate in the respiratory weekend and on call and orthopaedic weekend and evening services.
You will need to be a New Zealand registered physiotherapist and have a current annual practising certificate. If you have these and are committed to continuous quality improvement through professional development we welcome your application.
A senior role will be considered for a candidate that demonstrates leadership qualities and advanced clinical skills.
